The Computer Skills Training Program, with FREE access to the Internet, is available for use by students enrolled at Brownsville Literacy Center. Self-paced interactive learning software is installed on each computer. For more information call 542-8080.
While computers have become an everyday part of life, many adults lack the skills to perform the most basic computer operations. Brownsville Literacy Center offers 6 to 8-week courses in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Classes meet twice a week for 1.5 hours. Morning and afternoon classes are available. Classes are taught in English and Spanish. Topics include basic typing, word processing, Internet navigation, e-mail, and the use of spreadsheets.
